The 9th Anniversary Celebration of the Malaysia Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce and Malaysia–China Friendship Night

On July 9, 2026, the AGTHUM attended the 9th Anniversary Celebration of the Malaysia Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce and Malaysia–China Friendship Night. The event brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and representatives from various organizations across Malaysia and around the world to celebrate the strong and growing ties between Malaysia and China.

More than ten representatives from the AGTHUM attended the gala dinner. The association was honoured to have one table generously sponsored by Tan Sri Barry Goh, reflecting his continued support for the alumni community and Malaysia–China friendship. The association extends its sincere appreciation to Tan Sri Barry Goh for his generous sponsorship.

The celebration also welcomed representatives from Shenzhen organizations across multiple countries and regions, providing a platform to strengthen cooperation and exchange ideas on trade, technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, and regional development. Against the backdrop of deepening Malaysia–China relations and the continued implementation of RCEP, participants highlighted the growing opportunities for collaboration in digital economy, AI, smart manufacturing, and cross-border investment.

The Tsinghua University Malaysia Alumni Association remains committed to actively participating in initiatives that strengthen Malaysia–China relations. Moving forward, the Association will continue leveraging its alumni network to foster closer collaboration with industry, academia, and community organizations, while contributing to advancements in technology, education, innovation, and youth development.
