About AGTHUM
The Association of Graduates from Tsinghua University Malaysia (AGTHUM) was officially registered on September 26, 2014. It is a non-governmental, non-profit, and nationwide organization approved by the Registry of Societies Malaysia. The association aims to unite alumni, serve the community, promote China–Malaysia collaboration, and uphold the enduring Tsinghua spirit.
On February 27, 2015, AGTHUM held its inaugural ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, supported by the Tsinghua Alumni Association, Tsinghua University Education Foundation, the Asia-Pacific Tsinghua CEO CCI, and Malaysian alumni and students. The flag was formally handed over by then-Vice President of Tsinghua University, Professor Jiang Shengyao. In 2018, the association partnered with TusStar Malaysia to establish the AGTHUM Activity Centre in Petaling Jaya, serving as a hub for gatherings and events.

The association has also warmly welcomed visiting leaders, faculty, and students from Tsinghua University, and remains devoted to serving both alma mater and society at large, carrying forward the spirit of "Self-Discipline and Social Commitment".
AGTHUM also strives to serve as a vital bridge between Chinese and Malaysian alumni. We warmly welcome alumni from all over the world to connect with us, be it for academic exchange, business expansion, overseas investment, second home programs, family relocation, cultural activities, alumni gatherings, or resource integration. We are always happy to share and support one another.
Furthermore, AGTHUM aspires to be a key liaison between Tsinghua University and Malaysia, assisting prospective students with questions about studying abroad, supporting Malaysian students at Tsinghua, and serving as a point of contact for graduates returning home. We also aim to build stronger communication channels with the Malaysian government, local universities, and other alumni organizations.
With unwavering dedication to the Tsinghua ethos, AGTHUM will continue to connect alumni across the globe, harness collective strength, and write a new chapter of excellence together.
