Shenzhen Tsinghua & Sun Yat-sen University Lingnan College Alumni Exchange

On September 17, 2025, the AGTHUM had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the Shenzhen Tsinghua Alumni Association and the Sun Yat-sen University Lingnan College Alumni Association, led by Vice President Jia Baojun, to Kuala Lumpur. In the evening, 16 alumni and guests gathered at Marco Polo Restaurant for dinner. Intrinsic SEA CEO Ravenna Chen, our Vice President Laxus Lim, alumnus Henry, and President Hong Zi Shen were in attendance. Over dinner, everyone engaged in lively discussions on their respective industries, Malaysian culture, and the economic and cultural landscape of Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

On September 18, the delegation visited Intrinsic SEA’s office at TRX Tower. Intrinsic SEA COO Zehan and CEO Ravenna gave an overview of the company’s business, and special guests KK Chong (Founder & CTO) and Justin Heng (Head of Business Development) from Malaysian digital asset platform Hata joined to share insights. Coincidentally, Target Media Southeast Asia CEO Jenny Tu, also a Tsinghua alumna, was visiting and participated in the exchange. The group engaged in in-depth discussions on Malaysia’s cryptocurrency and blockchain development as well as the country’s economic outlook.

After the visit to Intrinsic SEA, President Hong Zi Shen introduce the delegation to the Smart City Expo at KLCC Convention Centre, where he introduced them to the China Mobile International booth and their projects. This visit not only deepened understanding of Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem and blockchain sector but also laid a strong foundation for future cross-border collaboration and resource sharing.
