Launch of the 1st “Jiujing Cup” National High School Algorithm Competition Press Conference Held at Southern University College

On August 1, 2025, the press conference for the 1st “Jiujing Cup” National High School Algorithm Competition and Training Camp was successfully held at Southern University College, Johor. The event is jointly organized by the Department of Computer Science at Tsinghua University and the Association of Graduates from Tsinghua University, Malaysia (AGTHUM), co-organized by Southern University College and the Malaysian Informatics Olympiad Society, and hosted by the Tsinghua Student Algorithm Association.
This competition is open to all secondary school students in Malaysia and is completely free of charge. Its objectives are to:
Enhance students’ computational thinking and algorithm design abilities
Build a cross-cultural tech education platform between Malaysia and China
Encourage youth to engage in the international algorithm competition ecosystem, discover their potential, and gain real-world experience
