Joint Visit to Sidec with SDEIPA

On August 7, 2025, Mr. Hong Zi Shen, President of the AGTHUM, together with a delegation from the Shenzhen Digital Economy Industry Promotion Association (SDEIPA), visited the Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) for an in-depth exchange on the development of Selangor’s AI industry and potential collaboration opportunities.

During the visit, Sidec Business Development Manager Mr. Lee Wai Meng provided a detailed overview of Selangor’s investment strategies in the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and innovation sectors, as well as the state’s latest policies supporting foreign enterprises in developing AI locally. He emphasized that the Selangor government is committed to building the state into a regional hub for AI and the digital economy and welcomes more domestic and international companies and research institutions to establish a presence in Selangor to jointly drive industry advancement. This visit established a closer communication channel between both parties and laid a solid foundation for future strategic cooperation in AI and digital economy initiatives.
