Exchange with the SIGS Environmental Science Team

On September 29, 2025, the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS) Practice Team arrived in Penang, Malaysia, to embark on a multi-day program, during which they visited local enterprises including Vitrox and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
Local alumnus Kuek Fu Long specially arranged an online exchange session to facilitate interaction between the visiting teachers and students and local alumni. The session was also attended by Gan Yee Chin, Deputy Secretary-General of the association, and Hong Zi Shen, president of the association.
During the meeting, participants engaged in lively discussions and brief exchanges about local culture, the education environment, career development, and the current activities of the Alumni Association. In addition, Kuek Fu Long prepared souvenirs for the visiting team and enthusiastically introduced Penang’s rich culinary offerings and tourist attractions, giving the delegation a deeper appreciation of Malaysia’s cultural diversity.
