Exchange Meeting with the Tsinghua School of Environment and the Rixin College

On January 29, 2024, the Association of Graduates from Tsinghua University Malaysia (AGTHUM), together with TusStar Malaysia, hosted students from the School of Environment and the Rixin College of Tsinghua University to discuss the inheritance and innovation of Chinese culture in Malaysia.

During the exchange, TusStar Malaysia introduced its operations in Malaysia, then our Deputy Secretary-General Edison Wong hosted the meeting. He started with the introduction of our AGTHUM, then our treasurer Bei Sheng shared his views on Chinese education in the Malaysia education scene. Subsequently, a roundtable discussion was held where team members took turns introducing themselves and asking questions they were most interested in about Malaysia. The topics of discussion included:

1. Interactions among various ethnic groups in a multicultural environment

2. Development of green energy in Malaysia

3. Chinese literature in Malaysia

During the process, our alumni Lim Wei Ren from the Department of Environment helped answer many questions about green energy. The event concluded with a group photo and souvenir exchange session.
