On November 24, 2025, the Association of Graduates from Tsinghua University Malaysia (AGTHUM), together with the alumni enterprise Beijing Zhongyan Dadi Technology Co., Ltd., visited Port Klang and met with Port Klang Authority Chairman Ean Yong Hian Wah. This visit stemmed from AGTHUM’s recent 10th Anniversary celebration. Wu Siyu, founder of Beijing Zhongyan Dadi Technology Co., Ltd., travelled to Malaysia to attend the anniversary gala, and the Alumni Association took the opportunity to extend the corporate visit series by organizing a delegation to Malaysia’s most important port hub — Port Klang.

Beijing Zhongyan Dadi Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech listed company specializing in geotechnical engineering, foundation treatment, and infrastructure construction. With strong technical capabilities and extensive project experience, the company is a leader in both the Chinese and international markets. The purpose of this visit was to better understand Malaysia’s port and infrastructure development needs and to explore potential cooperation in foundation engineering, port construction, and related fields.

During the meeting, Chairman Ean Yong Hian Wah warmly received the delegation. Notably, Ean Yong shares a long-standing friendship with AGTHUM President Hong Zi Shen and Secretary-General Fabian Kong, as the three were former classmates. The discussion took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where they reminisced about their student days while also engaging in practical dialogue on potential collaboration between China and Malaysia in port development, foundation engineering, and port-related technology sectors.

This visit not only strengthened the connection between alumni enterprises and Malaysia’s key port infrastructure, but also laid the groundwork for future technical cooperation and project engagement. AGTHUM will continue to uphold its mission of “connecting, serving, and empowering”, building stronger bridges between Tsinghua alumni and local industries. As an extension of the 10th Anniversary series of events, this visit reflects the Association’s long-term commitment to fostering cross-sector collaboration and advancing China–Malaysia industrial partnerships.
